About

Welcome to Studio Rumu - the home of the work of textile artist Karen Gorman. Karen is a figurative artist specialising in needle felting wool fibres. She incorporates recycled and reclaimed materials such as wool packaging, shells, stones and driftwood into her models and pictures. They are a joyful, sometimes nostalgic celebration of favourite places,  everyday objects, outdoor adventures and (most importantly) sheep.
