Vegemite, needle felted still life fibre painting

This art work has been created by needle felting coloured wool fibres onto a piece of woollen matting. The wool matting has been made from the recycled interiors of eco-friendly, frozen food fleece packaging. After needle felting the fibre painting, the work is then subtly hand embroidered to add depth and additional texture. It is then mounted within a glass-fronted, wooden box frame.
